I'm not sure if the windows 7 im running is a upgrade or full install but it would help to tell me how to determine which one im running. In addition, the instructions would have to be entered through the Windows DVD's command prompt, not by accessing Vista's/Windows 7's command prompt (not DOS) boot option. But Acer does not have an option to "Repair your computer" only to "Install Windows". You may need further information on Backup and Restore. Check This Out
