Is it possible that since my computer is powered down at bed time that the scheduled scan is skipped (and not started next morning when I power it up? Any theories about why this is and what, if anything, I should do about it? Its not really a problem but its just bothering me. Even if they were, why should it make me manually invoke Windows Defender to do a scan it recognizes needs to be done?
