What resolved the issue was installing the proper graphics display driver. and many of the forums seemed very helpful .. Once I noticed this I have no problem.I use the 1024 screen setting and Roxio likes a much higher resolution as does the games. I can change stuff, but it never stays- it always goes back to the large icons.
