It takes forever to boot and the interface, the entire interface with maybe the exception of the "desktop" is cumbersome. I hope there's a keyboard and mouse desktop/laptop edition. It's just simply not enough for us as professional users. So tablet OS for people afraid of new technology, now it has been labelled, we can stop bitching that it isn't aimed at us. I ported my existing gadgets from W7 to W8 (by simply copying the gadgets folder), then enabling them with those tools - perfect! I've been using the Consumer Preview as my primary OS on a spare laptop I had laying around and it's damn near unusable.
