Windows 7 Fails To Go Into Safe Mode. Stuck At Classpnp.sys

It partially started up and looked like it wasn't doing anything - just a blue Windows background. Boot into Windows Recovery Mode 2. How does that happen. Have not installed any new hardware in last year. check over here
