When you upgrade to Windows 10 you would need to download Dell Backup and Recovery software from the link below. The initial Windows 10 upgrade changes partitions so I wouldn’t expect the Windows 7 OEM Recovery Partition to remain functional in any case. You must then Clean Reinstall Windows 10, wiping out the Dell Recovery partition(s). It sounds like some chipset drivers are missing.
